The Social Media Manager will drive our social media marketing strategy and lead the execution for our firm’s social media channels and employee advocacy program. You will have the opportunity to steer and execute our national marketing campaigns and sponsorship programs. You will lead and grow our social media advocacy program, for the purpose of amplifying our brand and message in the market through our strongest brand advocates – our people.  You will contribute to our social selling initiatives, community forums and much more. Our goal is to ensure that Chicago Tiny House has a distinct voice in the marketplace among: peers; influencers; and clients – as well as prospects and recruits.

The Social Media Manager will be part of our Marketing team – an entrepreneurial group of professionals with the desire to pave new ground for the firm in the digital space.

Desired Skills and Experience

EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
·  4+ years of experience in digital media/social media in corporate environment
·  2+ years of experience in managing B2B social media channels and teams, with demonstrated success

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
·  Experience managing multiple social media platforms – especially LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & YouTube
·  Experience working with social media management platforms (e.g. Hootsuite)
·  Experience with social media employee advocacy tools (e.g. Dynamic Signal, Elevate)
·  Familiarity of B2B or financial services industry preferred
·  Experience running successful paid social campaigns
·  Experience with social media listening tools (e.g. Brandwatch, Mention, Crimson Hexagon)
·  Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics
·  Strong ability to write, edit and proof social media content in a smart and creative way
·  Ability to translate complex business/financial materials into compelling content that resonates with our target audience
·  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
·  Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and marketing channels (web, email, SEO, etc.)
·  Ability to stay ahead of trends in digital technologies
·  Experience writing, editing and crafting presentations that answer complex questions, clearly communicate findings, facilitate discussion and foster action
·  Experience with testing and optimizing digital/social marketing campaigns
·  Experience with customer segmentation and persona targeting
·  Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
·  Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
·  Highly self-motivated and directed with ability to exercise independent judgment and action
·  Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure; maintains constant awareness of deliverables and deadlines
·  Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
·  Experience leading team of direct and indirect reports; keeps team focused on short and long-term milestones
·  Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
